Abstract
We propose a design method based on coupling mode theory for high-fabrication-tolerance mode (de)multiplexer. A TE0&TE1 mode multiplexer with <1.5 dB insertion loss, (1.5∼1.6) µm operation bandwidth and 20 nm fabrication tolerance is de-signed. © 2019 The Author(s)
