Dual-Path Phase-Sensitive OTDR for Simultaneously Individual Vibration Monitoring

Abstract

We present and experimentally demonstrate a dual-path phase-sensitive OTDR system based on frequency division multiplexing technology. Vibrations along both 2.5 km and 8.5 km branches can be detected simultaneously with individual monitoring requirement.
